French Canadian Nathalie Mongeau bags another
A First for Me !
I regularly guide French speaking clients - they have been the core of my business since forever! Nathalie is the first French Canadian I've had the pleasure of guiding and only one of a handful of French speaking lady clients to boot.
The day dawned nice and sunny so great conditions for going up country.
Things didn't look so good upon arrival since having just set off from the truck the ominous sound of jet boats could be heard approaching.
There really weren't too many options given our isolation so we decided to press on. Luckily our decision paid off since I managed to find Nathalie some undisturbed water, no small feat since there were at least a dozen jet boats on the river! However a little local knowledge goes a long way and the first rainbow of the day was soon in the net.
Being a very competent angler, Nathalie had no trouble in putting the fly on the spot. That's a great attribute when that first cast is so important!"
